BLT Dip

I absolutely love homegrown or heirloom tomatoes! I made this recipe at the tail end of the tomato season and I have to say, it complete accentuates the things we love about all BLT sandwiches, but great for a party.  (I even doubled this one since I traded the dip for these multi-colored tomatoes from a farm.)

Ingredients:
1 cup Sour Cream (light)
½ cup light mayo
2 tomatoes, chopped
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Salt
1 cup chopped lettuce
Chips or crackers

Directions:
Mix sour cream and mayonnaise.

Spread onto the bottom of a 9 inch baking dish.

Layer chopped tomatoes, sprinkle with salt, and then add crumbled bacon.
Top with lettuce (or I preferred to place it around the edges since it’s my least favorite ingredient in a BLT.)

Serve with crackers or chips.
