Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bake

Scroll down to content

I can’t lie. This is not the kind of recipe that’s in my wheelhouse, but what’s in my wheelhouse is making others happy.!  This recipe was requested by my boyfriend, and we then decided to make it with his son too.  The great thing about this recipe is that it was great to get the 4 year old involved, and it’s so easy to make!  Great family recipe. 🙂

Ingredients:

2 packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 (18 ounce) packages chocolate chip cookie dough

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl until blended.

Spread 1 roll of cookie dough on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan to form the base. (note that this is a picture of 9×9, but I used a larger pan to get it to bake more thoroughly later.)

Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on top.

Pinch off small pieces of the remaining cookie dough and distribute them on the cream cheese mixture. (We snuck on some orange M&Ms to cheer on our Clemson Tigers at a tailgate.)

Bake in the preheated oven until cream cheese mixture is set and cookies on top are golden brown, 30 to 45 minutes. Let cool before serving, about 30 minutes.
