When planning a party for a friend, your first thought should always include: What foods do they love? So while brainstorming a Hawaiian theme baby shower for Jenny, I remembered that she LOVES Brixx Hawaiian pizza. (She even brought it over the other week for a party.)

So then this dip seemed like a perfect idea! Add all of her favorite toppings, over a cream cheese-based dip.

This recipe could be served warm (with cool pineapple in my opinion) by heating in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes until warmed through, or at room temperature.

Serve with warmed bread, crostini, or crackers.

(See original pizza – I figured it needed some bacon too!) https://brixxpizza.com/menu/hawaiian/

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, Softened (1 box)
  • 2 tbsp Sour Cream (or mayonnaise)
  • 2 tbsp pineapple juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup pineapple, diced (fresh if possible)
  • 4 oz. prosciutto, diced or 1/4 cup bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • Warm bread, crostini or crackers for serving

Directions:

In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sour cream/mayo until smooth.  Spread into a pie pan. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes to make firm.

Top the cream cheese mixture with pineapple, prosciutto, bacon, and cilantro.

Serve at Room temperature.
